As promised a while ago, some pictures of my atom. Vital statistics - villiers Mk 10 98cc, villiers V type carb.

I have some ducks foot cultivating tines, a couple of jalo weeding hoes and a soil turner (sourced from Chester Hudson at tillerparts.com, whom I would recommend very highly)

The tyres are as far as I can tell original. So far I have bought 2 new wheel hubs via Ebay, and a set of oversize piston rings from Meetens to cure a smoking problem.

I do have the original manual and attachment list dated 1950 & 1951, if exploded diagrams of any attachments would be of use to anyone, please let me know as there are plenty of these in the attachment list.

Bits I am looking for are a toolbox, a front attachment peg and a short axle. If anyone could perhaps point me in the right direction I would be grateful.

Regards,
Simon

Hi I have just found a similar Barford Atom. I believe it to have all the parts but not necessarily in the right places.
I have the tool box fitted to the handles but the lid has gone. I want to try and restore this to use it. As I have no intention of showing it I would be more than happy to try and remove the tool box if you are still looking. As for the front attachment peg, if I knew what it looked like I might have one.
I am, however, desperately in need of a manual and as much information as it is possible to get in order to rebuild the machine and see what attachments are available.
Regards
Derek

I have the Scythe cutter for this machine, but it seems that you are missing the bit at the front that it bolts on. ( see my Barford post for pictures of the Scythe 28/July)
