I think Geoff, Steve and Co should be congratulated for putting on such a good display, some well prepared and also original machines alongside a wonderful collection of hand tools, including some pretty rare stuff!  Not a stray pork pie in sight!!  but the crafty gnome seller got  in on the act , but it appears that none of his products made it on to the stand.

Chris,  Thanks for the kind words as the tools on the club stand are from our collection --- but look carefully, despite the high level of security one gnome did get through and onto the stand--Steve

Have a harder look. There was pork pie a plenty. Also what every well dressed gnome should be wearing this winter.

Geoff, Steve and the whole VHGMC team exhibiting at Newark are to be congratulated on brilliant and varied inside and outside displays. Steve even managed to creep a book on gnomes behind the D handled exhibits on the display stand. Well done Steve.

The little blighters are crafty enough to turn up anywhere, I think the Gnome seller is trying the subliminal message method  to promote sales in the East Midlands, I am also must surprised to see unopened pies within scenting range of our chairperson.

Don't forget that in addition to the indoor stand and exhibits there were a few club members with outside displays as well, a good representation for the club at this important show in Northamptonshire !!
