No really, very great job on the mustang. You dont see many here put money into what was considered a throw away lawn tractor. A whole class of stuff went to the scrap yard and no one looked twice.

Yeah three car garage full with three cars have my 16' fishing boat out side and my little utility trailer out there with it. I need a extra shop outback. These were really throw away tractors and I can see why but thats what has made it fun to do the restore on. They are becoming rare and hard to find. I have enough parts, I think to make one good one. I have two mower decks and will pick the best of the two and ended up with a complete blade assembly so when I am done it will cut grass again but I don't really plan on using it as a mower. i just wanted to have it complete blade will be off over 95% of the time way to dangerous even for me. Thanks for the reply. I hope to have more completed by the end of this long weekend.

Hey Guys,,, now that my uni-horse is all completed I have moved onto the Mowett,,  my wee 5hp Mowett is currently in bits,, all the frame now been undercoated and painted, just ready to get re-assembled, engine is due back soon from a friend (who is a Briggs Master Technician)Clap,, not sure if engine will run without the blade, apparently blade acts as a 2nd flywheel depending on year of manufacture as some engines had a lighter flywheel than others???, needing a new chain as one off the links is cracked, seat bracket, seat and bonnet still to be rubbed down and painted but so far doing well, mower deck already been rubbed down and undercoated and looks to be in good order,,Tongue,,  fingers crossed it will be ready in a few weeks

Installed second motor had to swap over card and coil. Changed oil and spark plug. Fires up and runs but not real smooth. from what I can tell I have good spark and compression. I would say my issue might be a air/fuel problem. I will try and clean out carb again and readjust and see what happens.
