The original exists so I will want to use it. Will the battery acid not remove the black on the plate as well as shining up the brass ?

Hey people, I need a small quantity of the ransomes blue for the steering levers and the name on my dumper, I am also considering spraying an old 1 pint oil jug I picked up on my recent travels in Wales in the blue as a feature to display with the machine at shows etc. Is there a RAL number for the colour or whats my best way of ordering it? 250 ml will more than do what I need. Must get a few updated pics up in the next few days. Cheers. Dave.
