Might be worth a trawl round the Old Lawn Mower Club website to see what information they have.

Hello SK there was also a model called the witch, I think this may have been thinner more sreamlined and narrower maybe so perhaps not the same as yours? Any pictures of the Webb's Witch anyone?
Regards, David.

Hello Simar Kid,
I've taken some pics of our Webb Whippet which is the 10" cut version of this type of Webb mower. It is my understanding your 12" cut model will not be a Whippet.
Could your larger model be a Lurcher or Greyhound ??!! Sorry, couldn't resist that one.

Okay everyone who has offered help. after looking at the photos and also the sales sheet i have double checked the cutting width of cyclinder and it turns out to be a WOMANS MOWER      I will not live this one down for a while. Embarrassed so now i need to find the correct grafics for it. it appears that the one i have is a little newer than the one which our good friend owns. i.e. i have the modern webb logo on grass box,and also did it have whippet on the chain case like the witch ? and also there seems to be a decal on the support bar half way down the handle bars.

Remiss of me not to photograph the chaincase transfer. This one has suffered somewhat as it is in an extremely vunerable position. These Webb mowers must have been very attactractive when new and, I suspect an easy sale.
