I am posting this item again as I now realise that many of you were away from home at the Great Dorset Steam Fair and other events at the end of August/beginning of September when I first posted this on the Forum.   I have been contacted by some members of the VHGMC and I am dealing with their requests at the moment.

Many of you will know that for the past few years I have been researching and trying to write a couple of books.   The overall title of the series is “British Hand-held Garden and Horticultural Tools and Equipment (non-mechanical).   Trademarks and Logos of the 20th Century”.
Volume 1, 1st edition is “Manufacturers of Sprayers, Sprinklers, Syringes, Powder Blowers/Dusters, Rubber Hose and other water related products".
Volume 2 will be “Manufacturers of hand-held Garden and Horticultural Tools.

As the name suggests each of these volumes has been researched on the basis of the Trademarks and Logos of the Manufacturers.    Well I am sure you will be pleased to hear that I have actually finished Volume 1!   Of course, nothing is ever really finished which is why I have added 1st edition.

I have had help from some members of the VHGMC who I knew at the time I started the books were interested in Trademarks and Logos and I have thanked them within the pages of the book.    Of course many more are now interested and I hope to hear from them in the future.

Anyone interested in obtaining a copy of this book at a reasonable price?

VGMC members - have a look at the VHGMC part of the forum where you will see pictures of a couple of pages of the book and other details.   Other Forum members - PM me if you are interested.
