Evening, a couple of years ago I sold Oddbox the Trusty via a certain auction site, the buyer contacted a couple of times and then after a series of unforunate problems he had at home it was never collected, if he reads this message could he contact me as to whether he still wants it or whether I can sell it again, it was paid for but to be fair, I have stored it for approaching 24 months. Very similar happened to me last december I sold a Clifford attachment on eBay to get it out the way. It was paid for straight away but I have never had any more contact. Will probably have to relist it again.

Not an uncommon thing to happen. I sold a Merry Tiller attachment 2 1/2 years ago, cash on collection, buyer could not collect for a while so paid by PayPal. Despite me chasing the buyer to arrange collection little or no response. In the end I sent him a message via e-bay telling him I would assume he no longer wanted it if he did not contact me within a month. Guess what no response despite his id being active on e bay. I will keep payment as storage fee. Looking at his feedback other sellers have a no response problem.

I advertised some freebie stuff on Gumtree, had a "queue" of five people wanting it and one after another they all failed to turn up!
