VHGMC Forums: Wheel horse B165 Instructions

   After it slowly dawned that I am the only member of this forum NOT to own a wheelhorse, I have bought one, a B165 with what seems to be a good mowing deck, to encourage my Son to cut his rather larg overgrown lawn. I have to pick this machine up in a couple of weeks, it seems to have a Briggs and Stratton Twin bore 16 HP engine, which I am told "Needs a service" does anyone have any comments about this machine or its engine? and where can I get an owners manual and workshop manual? there is a free workshop manual to download, but it does not include the B165. any advise would be welcome, thank you.

	I haven't got one, either, I wanted my wife to have one instead of her invalid scooter but no dice!
	6 months ago I couldn't even spell engineer - now I are one Calne, North Wiltshire...

	Well done, I can probably sort an Operators/Wiring Manual if you have no luck. Or I can point you in the direction to obtain one. The B165 was built between 1980 and 83. Has either a Peerless (5speed) or Eaton (Auto) Tranny. 16hp B&S Engine either 41707 or 42707. So it depends on your Tractor Model number which one you have. Regards.

	glad to see that you have a wheelhorse plonker, as richard said we should be able to find you a manual to download. I have 12 in my stable plus another special under wraps for next season and a cub cadet
	No Fools....Only Horses. Wheelhorse of course

	Thanks for that, I shall pick it up in two weeks when I get back from holiday, then I will need the manuals to sort it out! The seller said " it starts, splutters and dies!" Ah well, here we go again!
