I am looking for 3 tyres for my gunsmith 1 garden tractors (series 1 and 2),size of tyre is 6.00 x 22,any body with any information would be much appreciated ,many thanks

farmerboy1 welcome to the forum. As you have probably discovered 6.00x22 tyres are obsolete, they also fit British Anzani Iron Horse and BMB Plowmate. Good luck with your search.

As Charlie said 6.00 x 22 are an obsolete size, I have seen plenty about with wonderfull tread but walls are perished
 
Someone I know to obtain some bought a iron horse removed the tyres for his John Deere model L and fitted steel wheels to the iron horse
There are still 6.50x 22  Firestone tyres available in the USA and Australia but as Firestone have now stopped production, tyre dealers are asking about 350 a tyre.
You could change to 7.50 x 20 which are readily available new or secondhand, which many people have done.
 
You may be very lucky and find some sound secondhand ones but do not over inflate 10 lb is adequate , paint tyres with a rubber paint and if stored support axles on axle stands to take weight off tyres.
