As far as I can remember the float needle pulls out from the bottom of the bowl, it is retained by a clip, then the float will lift out.

Went out for a steak last week and I think there could be an extra earner with this tool I have just acquired.might just mention it to the owner of the resteraunt that if he wants his steaks tenderising I have the tool to do it.

Sorry, since I've looked at the other pictures I realise it's a BSA/Villiers 4 stroke!

can anyone date the engine for me ? the number is clear to see in the photos. sorted out the flooding carb, then after twenty minutes of running the engine stopped. no spark present so its now got an internal ign problem. WELL it must be due something in there they do not go forever. [IMG]smileys/smiley21.gif" align="middle" />

THIS PROJECT IS NOW BEING MOVED TO NEW FORUM IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO INPUT ANY INFO I WILL SEE YOU THERE. THANK YOU

Hi John as far as I can tell the factory records were destroyed in about 2000. However if you look on the flywheel then there will almost certainly be a date stamped on it.
