Any idea how it works,i see the rear half is a manual gearbox is the front a hydro?. I want one tooooo.

I too can only dream of time and ability to do that, I laughed out loud when I saw the pictures.
 
Fantastic, DOE's sell for insane money£80,000-£100,000 wonder what this is worth?

this was about as good as it got !!!! i think this was an experimental conversion for the army !!!! looks like it would of had more casualtys than the good old freindly fire !!!!!

_popupControl(); you are correct there young mowersman that is indeed a wisconsin engine, apparently both trustys had them which would date this picture to between 1942-43 a full 10 years before the doe triple d !!!! this would of also been one of the first fwd tractors too albeit a very basic model !!!! _popupControl();

I have seen this wheelhorse conversion before at Lingfield Steam fair. An interesting machine.
Might see it there again this year.

fitted low profile dumper tyres
and blacked out the glass sediment trap on the fuel trap
