My latest addition to the collection, an old Hayter rotary s/n H1561 dating from 1959/60 with Villiers 7F 2 stroke engine. After a bit of cleaning of carb, points etc it is running and cutting the grass. Just ordered new air filter from Meetens as the original was missing.

The machine still has remains of suppliers transfer on front of deck, Harris of Devon Ltd.

Yes a generous donation from another club member. I have now given it a quick clean with degreaser and a spray of WD40, now looks a lot smarter. Will probably take it to club weekend at Weeley.

Parts arrived next day from Meetens and are now fitted, 35.60 with postage. I have also got a copy of the parts list from Hayter.

Those wheels look like the ones on the front of my Hayter 24". Steel with nylon bearings? I replaced the unobtainable bearings with Oilite types.
